Bergolin Hydro Primer 3P202-T
Description
Bergolin Hydro Primer 3P202-T is a water-based, single-component hydro primer that was specifically developed for the dip coating process and can also be used as a single-coat finish. It combines excellent corrosion protection with fast drying, thereby enabling short cycle times in industrial mass production coating. As a water-based formulation, it allows for particularly low-emission application and can be overcoated with most solvent-based and water-dilutable 1K and 2K coatings. The primer adheres reliably to steel, phosphated surfaces, and galvanized sheet steel, and after curing, forms a mechanically robust, temperature-resistant protective coating (−50 °C to +160 °C). It can be flexibly applied using spray or dip coating methods, making it ideal for the industrial corrosion protection of metal components.
Recommended use
- Industrial Corrosion Protection of Metal Components Using the Immersion Method
- Primer and single-coat paint on steel, zinc or iron phosphate-treated surfaces, and galvanized sheet steel
- Mass production coating with short cycle times thanks to fast drying
- Low-emission primer as a base for solvent-based or water-dilutable 1K and 2K topcoats
- Spray application, e.g., using a flow-cup spray gun, for components with increased corrosion protection requirements
