Bergolin LEP 6D1100-1
Description
Bergolin LEP 6D1100-1 is a pigmented, solvent-free, and lightfast two-component polyurethane liquid plastic used as erosion protection (Leading Edge Protection) for the rotor blades of wind turbines. The system is 100% solvent-free and designed for single-coat application with a high dry film thickness, allowing the required erosion protection to be applied in a single pass. It can be applied with a roller, brush, or putty knife, is repairable, and is therefore also suitable for repairing damage caused during service or transport. The product offers excellent mechanical and chemical resistance, is weather-resistant, and requires no additional topcoat. It forms an elastic, abrasion- and weather-resistant protective layer on the erosion-prone leading edges and is approved by various OEMs.
Recommended use
- Single-layer erosion protection on the leading edges of rotor blades
- Coating of fiberglass-reinforced plastic (FRP) and load-bearing underlying coatings (filler, gel coat, primer)
- Repair of Service and Transport Damage to Rotor Blades
- Erosion protection without an additional topcoat, thanks to pigmented formulation
