Bergolin Pipe Coating

Bergolin Pipe Coating 6E3500 is a solvent-free and phenol-free 2K epoxy resin internal coating for steel pipes, which is used as a friction-reducing flow coat to optimize the functionality of pipe inner surfaces. The system offers high abrasion resistance and very high area coverage, making it particularly suitable for the economical coating of even long pipes. The coating forms a dense, non-porous, and ultra-smooth surface that minimizes friction and turbulence, thereby significantly increasing the gas flow rate. Bergolin Pipe Coating 6E3500 is temporarily temperature-resistant up to 250 °C and designed for use in gas transport and piping systems. The product is tested in accordance with ISO 15741 and API RP 5L2 and is suitable for non-corrosive gases such as hydrogen (H₂), carbon dioxide (CO₂) and nitrogen (N₂). It is applied directly to steel using an airless spraying process and can therefore be used as a direct-to-metal (DTM) system. A suitable cartridge solution with Bergolin Pipe Coating FixPack is also available for repair and maintenance work.
