Description

Bergolin UV Topcoat 6U1000 is a solvent-free, white-pigmented, UV-curing polyurethane acrylate-based coating for various steel substrates—particularly where excellent adhesion and high flexural flexibility are required. Curing takes place in seconds under a UV lamp; immediately afterward, the surface is ready for recoating, enabling short cycle times and a continuous process. Since the product is solvent-free and has a solids content of approximately 100%, there are virtually no emissions during curing. It can be applied without restrictions regarding temperature or humidity—by roller, spiral squeegee, spray, brush, or roller.

Recommended use

  • Coating of various steel substrates, including zinc- and iron-phosphated and galvanized steel
  • Applications with high requirements for adhesion and flexural flexibility (e.g., components that are formed after fabrication)
  • Timed batch and continuous processes thanks to curing in seconds under the UV lamp
  • Low-emission manufacturing thanks to a solvent-free formulation with approximately 100% solids
  • Opaque white paint applied by roller, spiral squeegee, spray gun, brush, or roller
