Bergopur 1C Topcoat 6P1600

Bergolin 1-Component Topcoat 6P1600 is an aqueous, fast-drying 1-component topcoat that was specially developed for coating rotor blade surfaces. It impresses with its very good resistance to mechanical and chemical stress as well as its excellent color stability. Thanks to its easy application by roller or spray application, the paint is ideal for industrial applications where a uniform and durable surface is required.

• Chemical base: polyacrylate
• Hardener system: not required (1-component system)
• Density: approx. 1.24 g/cm³ (depending on color shade)
• VOC content: approx. 30 g/l (depending on color shade)
• Solid content: approx. 61 % (depending on shade)
• Viscosity: approx. 1,100 mPas
• Adjustment dilution: Roll application with max. 15 % water / spray application with max. 5 % water
• Cleaning dilution: water, then with 5D402 (if required)
• Application types: roller, airmix, cup gun
• Processing conditions: ≥ +5 °C / 20-80 % relative humidity
• Reworking interval: min. 1 h, max. 96 h at +20 °C, 30 % rel. humidity
• Drying (at 100 µm wet film thickness):
  +6.5 °C / 65 % rel. RH: TG1 approx. 60 min, TG7 approx. 220 min
  +21 °C / 29 % rel. RH: TG1 approx. 35 min, TG7 approx. 120 min
  +40 °C / 80 % rel. RH: TG1 approx. 35 min, TG7 approx. 210 min
• Shelf life: approx. 18 months in the original container at +4 °C to +40 °C (protect from frost and moisture)
