Bergopur HighBuild Topcoat 6D8000
Description
Bergopur HighBuild Topcoat 6D8000 is a solvent-based, high-build, two-component polyurethane topcoat (high-build) on a polyacrylate basis for the mass production coating of construction and agricultural machinery. As a direct-to-metal (DTM) system, it can be applied in a single coat with a high dry film thickness and combines effective corrosion protection, high mechanical and chemical resistance, and excellent weather and color stability in a single application. Its high stability allows for uniform, run-free coats even on edges, overlaps, and mechanically machined or sandblasted surfaces; its excellent flow properties ensure a high-quality, uniform finish. Thanks to its single-coat application, the product reduces material, energy, and process costs and enables cost-effective, user-friendly, and reliable painting.
Recommended use
- Mass production coating of construction equipment as the primary application area
- Coating of Agricultural Machinery and Similar Steel Components
- Direct-to-metal coating of steel without a separate primer (preparation in accordance with EN ISO 12944-4, shot blasting to Sa 2½)
- Single-coat thick-film coating using airless or Airmix spraying, or by roller or brush
- Optional as a topcoat over primers such as 2K Epex Hydro Primer (3E602) or Epex Zinc Dust (3E750)
