Coprenal 242 6E242
Description
Coprenal 242 6E242 is a solvent-free, two-component epoxy resin liquid plastic with high abrasion resistance for steel and concrete surfaces subjected to extremely heavy wear in hydraulic engineering and wastewater treatment applications. As a cost-effective corrosion protection solution for large, contiguous surfaces, it can be applied as a thick-film system with film thicknesses of up to 500 µm (wet film thickness) per application, forming a highly abrasion-resistant, mechanically and chemically durable surface with good adhesion to metallic and mineral substrates. Coprenal 242 6E242 is repairable, touch-upable, and suitable for spray application, thereby ensuring efficient application and long-lasting performance even under demanding operating conditions.
Recommended use
- Cost-effective corrosion protection for large, contiguous steel and concrete surfaces in steel hydraulic engineering
- Protective coating for heavily used surfaces in wastewater systems
- Thick-film coating of steel, zinc/aluminum, and cement concrete/screed
- Highly abrasion-resistant coating for surfaces subject to heavy mechanical stress
