Rotor blade construction

Wind turbines are exposed to extreme loads during their service life. The rotor blades in particular are subjected to enormous forces at wind speeds of up to 300 kilometers per hour, which, in combination with rain, snow , heat and UV radiation, take a heavy toll on the blades.

Without the right coating, which offers effective protection against all weather influences and is at the same time so elastic that it can withstand all deformations without any problems, the rotor blades would show severe surface damage in a very short time.
