Composites made of GFRP and CFRP have a wide range of positive properties. In addition to their high strength and low weight, they are characterized by resistance to corrosion and chemicals, making them suitable for a wide range of applications.
Without a suitable coating, however, the composites are susceptible to weather-related influences, which severely impairs the longevity of GRP and CFRP components. But the coating can also be used to adapt the appearance of the components to one's own wishes.
Bergolin has a great deal of experience in the development of coatings for GRP and CFRP, not least due to its many years of work in the wind power industry. We have also been able to put this experience to profitable use for our customers in other areas. These include projects in light aircraft construction as well as vehicle and medical technology.
